One of the perks of my job is not just watching beautiful children grow from before they are born to newborn and beyond, but watching entire families grow. I met this family just over two years ago and we spent some time at a local park capturing adorable photos of this little guy when he just started sitting up. I guess it’s time for a before and after since he looks all grown up now! It’s absolutely amazing what a difference two years can make. Not only that, but he’s now a big brother to the sweetest little angel baby. She was so good for me and slept and let me pose her without a single complaint.
The first shot is from two years ago, the next shows how much he has changed, and finally his newborn baby sister.

After such a beautiful maternity session, I surely had to pop back in to share the sweet newborn photos as well. This little baby was only about 4 days old when these were taken and he was nice and sleepy.

I adore each of my little clients, but sometimes you meet a little one that just makes you want to hug and snuggle them and squeeze their cheeks and scrunch them all up and take them home! This little guy was one of those babies. Not only is he so adorably handsome, and did his smile light up from the inside but he had the biggest beautiful eyes! His parents so obviously adored him. This was definitely one of my favorite sessions this summer.

Ooooh this little baby was so sweet and such a beautiful little girl. I thought she looked a lot like her mommy. Most babies at this age have a difficult time focusing their eyes, let alone making eye contact with me. This sweetheart did with no problem and it made for some gorgeous baby portraits.
Wasn’t her little hat precious?

A few weeks ago, I met up with a family in a nearby Portland park. I had the pleasure of meeting the sweetest little baby girl. This little sweetheart was so full of smiles and she really gave it her all!
I loved the adorable pose of half on her tummy and half on her side, and look at those chunky thighs! Before you know it, this chunk is only a memory in a photograph.
It was such a treat for me when we arrived at the bench to see it overgrown with the most delicate white flowers to match such a beautiful baby girl. This is when the art just flows from the natural surroundings without even trying, you just look and there it is. You may remember seeing macro shots of these particular flowers from an earlier post.
