Isn’t this a beautiful family?
Btw, we finally closed on our new property!! We are beyond excited as you can imagine. First step is the house remodel and then onto the studio! We’re hoping our first studio session could take place as early as this fall! Stay tuned.

People who are not in the photography biz often think that taking photos of newborn babies is an easy gig. Little do they know! It’s not always as easy as it looks.
This adorable little one didn’t want to sleep and not only did he not want to sleep, but there was only one place he wanted to be in the whole world…and that was in mama’s arms. I don’t blame him! Despite the fact that he gave us all a run for our money, patience won out and in the end I got what I came for….beautiful newborn baby photos (with dad too!).

We’re getting closer and closer to closing on the new property. We are beyond excited and ready to go!! Unfortunately it will be several weeks before we can move in as there are many renovations to be done. In the meantime, Soul Prints will continue to operate normally. June is now fully booked and July is starting to fill. Emails will be answered within 24 hours and if you do not receive a reply, please give me a phone call in case something was lost in “the shuffle”.
In the meantime here are a few shots that I adore. Because of my specialty in working with newborns, babies and children, I haven’t been doing as many teen and high school senior sessions lately. This was a two for one! Big sister and little brother. I just loved their hair!

What more could I ask for?

Just look at this gorgeous baby girl! I could not get enough of her full head of hair. My son had thick black hair when he was born and this little one just brought me back to those first few months after my guy was born. I can hardly believe that he’s 4 1/2 already. They just keep on growing!
The last photo of the baby with her mama is one of my favorites. Look at that sweet smile. Now imagine when this baby girl grows up and has a little one of her own and she’s able to share this photo of herself with her mommy. What a treasured heirloom!
